We are currently looking for a full time In Process Auditor to join our growing, progressive, and collaborative work environment. This is a full-time position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. The In Process Auditor will be responsible to measure adherence or deviation to product and process requirements, and to maintain documented results, as well as act as a change agent, by leading and participating in problem solving activities and interacting with all members of the support teams in solving and preventing all day to day issues.

Qualifications

• Bilingual – Able to read, write and talk in both English and Spanish.
• Tensile strength testing equipment, such as Instron and/or Benz
• Computer: MS Office
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, blueprints, tolerances, etc.
• Mathematics
• Knowledge of measurement Devices. Micrometers, Calipers measurement.
• Able to move skids from locations to Inventory
• Use automatic/manual forklift

• Must be capable of moving heavy weights such as 30-40 lbs.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

 

The base pay for this role would be commensurate with experience: $17.50 to $20 per hour

 

 

Responsibilities

In Process Inspection: through the use of appropriate measuring equipment ensure raw materials, assemblies, subassemblies meet specified requirements. Validate setups when necessary to ensure machine operates according to standards.
• Process Audit: Conduct live tests on an ongoing basis to ensure that both parts and processes continue to behave in the way they are expected to, according to our Quality Management System. (Organize Red Bin reviews with the production lines every day.)
• Control of Non-Conforming Product: Report and clearly identify all the scrap, reworks and product that will be on hold in the Quality Reject Log, including Raw Materials, WIP and Finished Goods.
• Problem Solving: Lead and support Problem Solving Activities related to Quality. Organize problem solving activities and document all improvements on a A3 form with support team.
• Training: Responsible for on the job training with all operators as well as support personnel for quality issues, standards, and processes.
• Calibration: Calibrate measurement equipment according to necessities and frequency
• Work with product development on new material test and provide proper reports
• Use of appropriate measuring equipment to ensure the received product meets the specified requirements. It includes inspection of, but not limited to, wrap wire, core wire, outsourced finished goods, and drumhead films.
• Implement quality at the Source Program.
• Back up Lead and Line Attendant.
• Keep work area clean and organized to S5 standards.
• RM Transactions as necessary.
• Implement/Support safety rules.
• Quality Metrics – where applicable.
