We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing, progressive, and collaborative work environment. The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment (motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, spindle drives, etc.), and production machines / equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing equipment. This position will report to the Facilities and Safety Manager. This is a day shift position and will work on-site daily at our ProMark facility in Houston, TX. Candidate must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability.
  • Strong pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge
  • Physical dexterity.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
  • Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
  • Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
  • Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed.
  • Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Performing general maintenance work on facility buildings as assigned.
